Directions
The Forge is located on the Bodmin-Lostwithiel road, B3268/9, just round the corner from the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House.
From A30 southbound
Come off the A30 at the Bodmin exit and follow the brown signs for ‘Lanhydrock’. These will take you left quite soon after leaving the A30 and then left again at the T-junction onto the A38. Carry on down to the big roundabout and take the first exit, towards Liskeard, and then second right towards Lanhydrock. Go past the final signs for Lanhydrock and carry on till the mini-roundabout and go left as indicated by the brown ‘Prindl Pottery’ sign. The pottery is the lovely stone building a few hundred yards down the road on the left.
From A30 northbound
Come off the A30 at the Bodmin exit and take the third exit from the big roundabout signed for Liskeard and A38. Then take the second right towards Lanhydrock. Go past the next signs for Lanhydrock and carry on till the mini-roundabout and go left as indicated by the brown ‘Prindl Pottery’ sign. The pottery is the lovely stone building a few hundred yards down the road on the left.
From A38 and Liskeard
Take the A38 towards Bodmin and about two miles after Bodmin Parkway Station take the left turning signed for Lanhydrock. Go past the next signs for Lanhydrock and carry on till the mini-roundabout and go left as indicated by the brown ‘Prindl Pottery’ sign. The pottery is the lovely stone building a few hundred yards down the road on the left.
From Bodmin
Come out of Bodmin on the B3268 towards Lostwithiel. (Do not take the left fork just before the Military Museum or these directions will not work!) Carry on past the Dragon Centre and then Lanhydrock Golf Club. Go straight over the mini-rounabout as indicated by the brown ‘Prindl Pottery’ sign. The pottery is the lovely stone building a few hundred yards down the road on the left.
From Lostwithiel
Come out of Lostwithiel on the A390 going towards St. Austell. At the top of the very steep hill, hang right towards Bodmin onto the B3269. Carry on along for about 2.5 miles and you will find the pottery on the right at the bottom of the dip in the road. The brown ‘Prindl Pottery’ sign should give you enough time to slow down.
From St. Austell
Come out of St. Austell on the A390 going towards Lostwithiel. Go through St. Blazey and all and then eventually past signs for Fowey and then Lanlivery. At the top of the next steep hill, hang left towards Bodmin onto the B3269. Carry on along for about 2.5 miles and you will find the pottery on the right at the bottom of the dip in the road. The brown ‘Prindl Pottery’ sign should give you enough time to slow down.
