Description

A small blushing porcelain moonjar showing very well strong variations from the wood and salt firing. The glaze has no copper in it at all to start with but is very good at absorbing copper released from other pots during the firing, a process known as flashing, developing a lovely range of pinks which are then further changed by the salt vapour at 1200C.
